Abstract
|
|
|
The whole-genome sequence of Bacillus velezensis strainKMUS1 from kimchi was analyzed with the Illumina HiSeq4000 platform. The genome comprises a 3,810,818-bp chromosomewith a G + C content of 46.63%. Strain KMUS1 encodes20 protease and 61 peptidase genes, as well as nattokinase.
Therefore, the genetic background of strain KMUS1 potentiallyconfers the functional properties of a starter or probioticcandidate.
